2022 - Present
At Oracle, I led a geographically dispersed team of data engineers, QA engineers, and BI engineers, collaborating closely with the data architecture and infrastructure teams to design and implement analytic solutions tailored to the Construction and Engineering Business Unit customers. In this role, I partnered with product managers, data scientists, and analytics leaders to effectively prioritize, plan, and manage workflows. I spearheaded the establishment of the Analytics team in Manila, which expanded Oracle's analytics capabilities. My leadership responsibilities spanned across release management, defect management, scrum activities, as well as people and performance management. Additionally, I created proof of concepts using Oracle Analytics Server and Oracle Analytics Cloud, focusing on advanced features like machine learning and Generative AI.
2017 - 2022
As a Data and BI Architect, I designed and implemented a data warehouse for Compensation Software, managing data for over 1000 clients, each housed in separate databases and refreshed every two hours with as little resources as possible. I also delivered an end-to-end data solution for Employee Engagement Software, integrating machine learning services with OLAP cubes and stored procedures for reporting. Additionally, I spearheaded a table partitioning initiative that saved around 20TB of storage, significantly improving data management. My role also included conducting data science and T-SQL performance training for solution architects and engineers.
2016 - 2017
In my role as a Technical Business Analyst at Wells Fargo, my main responsibility is translating complex business requirements into actionable technical documentation by creating Functional Design Specifications and Detailed Design Specifications for Stored Procedures, Web Services and ETL pipelines.
2016 - 2016
Created Data Pipelines for the Regional Data Center and performed database administration and database maintenance. As a data quality lead, I Created a Detailed Data Quality Workplan in partnership with the Project Manager which includes Architectural, Functional and Logical Requirements.
2014 - 2016
My main responsibility is on development and maintenance of the Data Warehouse, ETL and creation of OLAP Cubes. I also developed the entire backend operations (ETL, Cubes) for XM Analytics, an internal project that presents employee timesheets in a Report suitable for Management.
2010 - 2014
As a Technical Specialist I engage the Contracting and Procurement Team on how to add business impact to the data quality reports while providing an in-depth analysis of the Data. I developed numerous automation tools in Excel and Access using Visual Basic for Applications which resulted to cost savings.
